One of my photos is being used on the Schmap online guide to Baltimore: Edo Sushi. They asked my permission in 2008 when they found it on Flickr. Recently, they completely revamped the site and e-mailed me to let me know. It's nice to see my photo used in a professional context, with credit given.

I just learned that one of the Wild Violet contributors, an excellent poet named Chris Crittenden, has written a very flattering blog post about the issue and about my work. It is further proof that all the time I've spent on Wild Violet over the past 10 years has been worth it.

Last May, about a month before I welcomed our Kung Fu Panda into the world, I tried out a Web gadget named MorphThing.com, which allows you to morph two pictures to see the resulting baby. Another friend, oshidori, who is also pregnant did this, so I thought I'd try it out. The site Morph Thing lets you combine two faces to see what their baby would look like.
